Florals!!

With April 1st around the corner, I feel like I can finally break out the florals! I'm not a huge pattern girl, but florals are such a huge trend this Spring, I had to try them out!

What made me fall in love with these Anthropologie pants was the elastic waist (comfort!) and the silky fabric. The floral pattern is fun, and I liked the fact that the colors were not too bright (I also have an aversion to bright colors...lol). I kept the rest of the look simple and classic with a black Club Monaco blazer, Malone Soulier heels (on repeat), and a white Rebecca Minkoff clutch (also on repeat)!

Love First

I am back! Sorry for my mini-hiatus. Two big snow storms and spring break took over my life temporarily! So, I'm usually not a "slogan tee" kind of person, but I couldn't pass up this Love First t-shirt! With everything that is going on in the world, and the anger that fills the news most days, I knew I needed this tee. Wearing this shirt reminds that the most important thing is to be kind to others and to surround yourself with people you love and who love you.

This awesome tee is from JCrew. And I always love pairing casual with dressy, so this black skirt from Nordstrom was perfect. Accessories: Malone Souliers heels (my newest obsession) and a fabulous Marc Jacobs tote.

One Shoulder Tops

As I sit at my desk (power is finally back on after 5 days!) I'm watching another snow storm out my window, and I am dreaming of Spring....and flowers....and one shoulder tops! Not sure March got the memo that snow storms are for December through February!

Scatto Plaid Top_1017.jpg

I was so excited to collaborate with Scatto Clothing again! Their website has everything from dresses to outerwear and so many great pieces in each category to choose from. I fell in love with this one shoulder top for many reasons. The subtle plaid pattern is super cute and I love that only one shoulder is bare! I always struggle with off the shoulder tops, because I find them so uncomfortable and hard to keep in place! This top was perfectly paired with boyfriend jeans, striped Sam Edelman heels and a Botkier bag! Use code: style20 at check out at Scatto Clothing and receive 20% off your purchase!

Classic Blazer

There is nothing better than a classic black blazer. It is a staple in every woman's wardrobe! For this look, I wanted to put together something a little different. Something classic, but a little bit unexpected!

This gorgeous blazer is from Club Monaco. A great fit and I loved the gold button detail. I'm loving these high waisted, utility trousers. They're a fun alternative to a skinny jean or leather legging. Final touches: a skinny belt from Madewell, Halston Heritage gold clutch, and striped Sam Edelman heels. This look is perfect day or night!

How gorgeous is this top from Never A Wallflower??? The bell sleeves and tie waist take this checkered shirt to a whole new level. The fit is beyond perfect (I am wearing a small) and flattering. As most of you probably know, I am really into vintage Levi's right now! I love pairing fun tops with distressed jeans, great heels, and a lady-like bag. It's the perfect date night look.
