Top 10 Favorite Things under $100!

After doing a bit of research and online shopping, I narrowed a very long list down to 10 of my favorite things - all under $100! Who doesn't like a bargain of sorts and a list that includes not only something for you, but also great gift-giving items. (Birthdays, Mother's Day, Teacher Gifts, etc.)

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love Ray Ban sunglasses. There are so many styles to choose from, they are reasonably priced, and seem to never go out of style!

I have been wearing the same perfume for about 10 years now and I can't seem to switch! My good friend Shannon introduced me to Quelques Fleurs and I constantly get compliments about how good I smell!

Spring Break is around the corner and I recently found this awesome beach tote,  havianas (my fave beach flip flop) and long lasting lip gloss to bring along on my trip.

I always seem to be cold...maybe I'm getting old or maybe my husband likes to keep the heat at a constant 68! Regardless the reason, I am a big fan of scarves and I love this great, printed one from Madewell.

A good belt not only holds up your pants but is an all-around great accessory! Thread tassel earrings in every color are huge for Spring and I love them in navy - since they work with everything in my wardrobe!

Finally, floral cami from new fave store, Dot Reeder and a Nest Candle (any scent is a winner!). Now, click away and enjoy some great items at great prices!

Is it Pants or a Skirt?

I recently did a major shopping spree at Zara. It's truly one of my favorite stores. I found these pants/skirt - maybe a skort? (but truly way cooler than the name) and immediately fell in love with them. I knew that I could wear them with heels, wedges, flats or converse sneakers and numerous tops in my closet. What is better than finding one piece of clothing that will give you endless outfit opportunities??

This look is fool-proof! I bought this Athleta white tank top a few weeks ago and I knew it would be perfect with my new Zara pants! I chose platform wedges (similar) because the color is neutral and I like to give the illusion of being taller than I really am! Last touch - gorgeous earrings from Ward Vintage. Jen Ward truly has the most amazing jewelry. This look can take you anywhere from lunch with friends to dinner out on the town - just add a jacket and you're ready to go! I just wish Zara made these pants in more colors!

Shopping Local!

I am always looking for fun, local boutiques to shop in. Don't get me wrong, I love the mall (LOL), but it's nice to shop local and find different brands you wouldn't necessarily find in a department store. A friend of mine introduced me to a fantastic women's boutique in Montclair, NJ called Dot Reeder. The moment I stepped into the store, I knew it was going to be one of my new fave shopping destinations! They carry anything from dresses and tops to jeans and accessories! The store will dress you (very well) from head to toe!

How ridiculous is this photo? First of all, I can't believe that I actually got some "air" between me and the ground, but more so I cannot believe that I didn't hurt myself! Maybe should've played basketball!

I love these Alexander Wang khaki pants. They fit like a glove and I have nothing like them in my closet! Boutique shopping increases your chances of finding that one of a kind piece. This fitted Demylee NY tank works perfectly with the pants and many other things in my closet! I kept it simple with the accessories - nude platform sandals (similar), a Proenza Schouler tote and a Dennis Higgins Cuff

Take a day trip to Montclair and have lunch (there are so many yummy places to eat!) and check out Dot Reeder - 129 Watchung Avenue - you will not be disappointed!

Accessorizing a Classic Look

You truly can't go wrong with jeans and a blazer. It's simple, sophisticated and versatile. As a mom, I find myself in a version of this look quite often, whether I am heading to a school meeting, lacrosse game or lunch with friends. But how do you make this classic look a little more interesting? Accessorize!!

I love these button fly jeans and white v-neck tissue tee from Madewell - both are a great price point and an awesome fit. A tailored navy blazer (similar) is a must in every woman's wardrobe. It can be worn in any season and be dressed up or down. My favorite accessory to buy are shoesbecause they always fit regardless of my work out regimen! I found these Proenza Schouler mules at Saks. Besides being totally different and fun, they are beyond comfortable. Final touch are fun earrings from Banana Republic (less than $50!). Now, go out and buy some fun accessories and spice up your classic looks!

Tales of Traveling Friends!

In a week or so many of us will be going away for Spring Break! Some will head somewhere warm and tropical; others may hop a plane out west to ski or maybe California to visit family and hit the beach. I asked my two gorgeous and fun friends to play dress up with me to show you amazing looks for 3 different destinations!

Sheri's Elizabeth and James look (skirt) (top) would be perfect for St. Barths or other tropical destination. It is sophisticated, chic and the color is so lovely! I kept the accessories simple with suede nude sandals from Club Monaco and a gorgeous necklace from Ward Vintage . Final touch a snakeskin clutch (similar- August Designs).

Vail in March isn't always about snow boots and puffy coats! Rael is ready for dinner in Vail village with Current Elliot jeans, a Vince navy camiblack suede pumps (similar) and a "every girl needs one" black All Saints leather jacket. Accessories - earrings from Ward Vintage.

And where am I going? Well, I think my look is perfect for CA! I recently did a shopping spree at Zara and found this cute light blue skirt. I knew it would be a versatile piece in my wardrobe for Spring and Summer. I grabbed an oversized white button down from Aritzia, fun hot pink sandals - my daughter calls them my Barbie shoes! (similar in style), straw bag with a pop of pink and gorgeous bracelet and earrings from Ward Vintage and I'm ready for an afternoon of shopping and lunch!

Wherever you go for vacation- safe travels and have fun dressing for your destination!
