Everyone should own a denim shirt. I have a few and I am so happy that they continue to be on trend! I wear mine with anything from a black leather skirt to white linen pants. The question is, can you where a denim shirt with other denim? The answer is heck yeah! I personally love to mix denim rinses like I did in this look. These AMO black rinse jeans fit like a glove and I love the detail at the ankle! My Jcrew denim shirt is about 7 years old, but I am happy to report that they still sell a few similar styles! Normally, these satin Badgley Mishka heels would be worn for cocktail party or black tie event, but I'm all about every day wear! Why can't you put fancy shoes with denim? There are NO rules! The detail on the back of the shoe as well as the fun color just makes me happy! Final touch, this amazing bag from Anthropologie. It's a great size (it fits my huge IPhone!) and I love the mix of colors and texture. Give denim on denim a try and break out those fancy shoes!
